HelpOurKids was founded to offer small goods and services that will make a difference in the lives of children in foster care in western Masschusetts. The purpose of HelpOurKids is to identify needs of the children in care beyond the basics of necessity, (food, clothing, housing), which are similar to children not in foster care, and to fulfill the requests swiftly through a collaboration of volunteers, community resources and community partners.
We are so excited that in just over three weeks, the second annual Touch-a-Truck event in Springfield MA will benefit HelpOurKids! This FREE event on Saturday, September 12 from 10AM – 2PM, and will features a variety of exciting activities and loads of interesting vehicles that you’re allowed to touch. Surely an event for kids of all ages! And the best part for our foster kids in western Mass? All of the donations from the event will be handed over to HelpOurKids!

The event is free and promises to be an exciting and educational event for people of all ages.
